What is the Energy Psychotherapy Network?
We are practitioners who integrate Energy Psychology methods into our practice. We are psychotherapists, counsellors, and others in the mental health professions in the UK and Ireland. We value our varied core trainings and work together to practice, teach, and support one another in ongoing learning and research.
We are committed to listening to and learning from our clients
We are open to learning from a variety of teachers and systems and arrange Energy Psychotherapy Network CPD Days to support this.
We encourage regular supervision to develop our continuing integration of the methods into our healing practice.
We maintain a list of Practitioners who have completed one or more courses and have demonstrated that they are integrating energy methods into their practice.
We recognize that we are all on a healing journey and need to continue to use the methods we are learning to work on our own issues.
We encourage others with qualifications in the mental health professions to incorporate Energy Psychotherapy into their practice through our own integrative Converging Streams training courses. We teach and promote workshops by others in a variety of methods including Advanced Integrative Therapy (AIT) , Dynamic Energetic Healing (DEH), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Psychoanalytic Energy Psychotherapy(PEP) and Tapas Acupressure Technique (TAT).
We value the US based Association of Comprehensive Energy Psychotherapy (ACEP) with its extensive research base and attention to the ethics of working with energy methods and work to strengthen our links with them. There is an annual ACEP UK study day.
We are keenly aware of the need to value diversity and to promote equal opportunities.
We are committed to the development of pro-bono projects where possible and many of the practitioners listed offer some sessions at low cost.
